Jordan was diagnosed with alpha 1-antitrypsin deficiency when he was just two months old. His
liver was already terribly damaged and he was listed for a transplant
almost immediately. Six months later Jordan and his family got the
call. Jordan received his liver transplant at the University of Nebraska
Medical Center in June 1996. Since his transplant Jordan has had to deal with many ups and downs.
At times it's been a real struggle. But Jordan is a fighter and today he is healthy, happy and
full of life. His mother Suzette says "Jordan is truly a gift from God and we know that He has some
big plans for him and his life.
