This was not the case. We went through the next few months with a lot of crying and frustration. She began to have acsities. This made us very nervous and her very uncomfortable. We were admitted to the hospital in December and she received her transplant in January. This came a lot sooner than we had thought, but thank God it did. Our daughter is now 3 months post transplant and is doing amazing. She inspires and amazes us everyday. We are so thankful to the donor family, we can only say thank you. However, it just never seems enough. We have made many friends through the process and are so grateful for all their help also. We are thankful for everyday we are given with our beautiful little girl who has been through so much in such a small time. Allie is our gift from God. |
